Apache Peaks from the west

Walking in on the road, the summit is in view, but not obvious (it's dead-center)

Now on the upper plateau, the summit hill is not far

The summit massif from atop the high plateau. Note the rocky pillars toward the near end. Aim for these.

The brushy summit

The "other" Apache Peak, elevation 6,910 feet

The interesting cliffs circling the Apache Peaks

A little farther out on the egress, notice how much snow has melted!
