Brownell Peak
January 26, 2019

Brownell Peak from the northeast

After climbing a couple low ridges, the peak is much closer and more defined

The ridge to the top. The summit is left of the notch at top

The guys hiking upward

The summit and its north-facing cliffs

Now on top, looking back at the north summit and the ridge we climbed

The ridge and in the distance, the low hills from where we started. Gu Achi is the peak in the distance

West view of the Rabia Mountains

South view of Quijotoa Mountain and the town

Dylan once said you don't need a weatherman to tell you which way the wind blows

The others guys on the summit

Witness marker. Could not find the benchmark

I started down early and got this shot of the guys on the summit. The "magic ramp" is slightly to the right, hidden, but marked by a small rainbow sun artifact

Cool sun effects on the slopes as I hike out
