Mount Dellenbaugh

The summit view from along the hiking road

Me on top!

The "Dunn 1869" inscription

Summit view from just below as we descend

View down from the trail at Arizona's "Big Country"

Montage of views

A typical scene of the "Big Country" of the Arizona Strip. From left: Diamond Butte and Poverty Knoll.

View northeast from the summit. In the far back from left, Poverty Mountain, Poverty Knoll, Diamond Butte (barely), the Hurricane Cliffs, Mounts Trumbull, Logan and Emma.

The view west and south was even more impressive:

Southwest view from the summit. Twin Spring Canyon is seen ahead. It is a side canyon of the mighty Grand Canyon.

And so was the south view:

View to the south and the vastness of the Grand Canyon.
