The main summit ridge appears once I have hiked past the foothills. The summit itself is behind the foreground ridges.
The road gains to a saddle northeast of the summit.
Now on the off-road portion, this is still lower down. Two rock knobs await me. The lower one is just ahead, the higher one is on the upper skyline.
The higher rocky knob. I stayed left.
Past the higher rock knob, the summit comes in view.
Now approaching it directly.
The summit up ahead.
From the top: west view, with Greenwood Peak visible.
North view of the big open-pit mine in Bagdad. Mount Hope(less), on the Baca Float, is to the far-distant left.
The surveyor's post and guy wiring, the benchmark, a parting view, and Dick Peak.
