Juniper Mesa
April 15, 2017

The cliffs of the Juniper Mesa from Walnut Creek Road

The western promontory from near the start

Now at the wilderness sign

The western promontory as seen from the upper trail

Now looking east

The batch of oaks amid the juniper and pinon trees marks the Bull Spring area

Cairn at western area

Ponderosa pine and low grass atop the mesa, as we walk to the east area

There were no markers at the eastern area, so this impressive alligator juniper was close enough to be the official summit image
