February 26, 2025

The North Butte is ahead, the cliffs of the South Butte are to the right, as I hike in during the early morning

Dutchwoman Butte as seen from Whiskey Tank. The two buttes flank this view on either side

The upper slopes of the North Butte

The summit is one of these rocks

The South Butte as I descend back to Whiskey Tank

Water tanks on the slopes up the South Butte

The top rocks

Dutchwoman Butte again

Armer Mountain to the southeast

The South Butte

The same picture of the two buttes as from earlier this morning, now in the afternoon light

The South Butte is centered, the North Butte is slightly to the left, as seen from the bottom

A profile view of the two buttes from the main road

Another North Butte view, a mylar balloon with an uplifting message, a calf in a pen, and a cactus that's seen better days
