1975 AVCO Cup Championship Finals

1974-75

1974-75 Houston Aeros, AVCO Cup Champions.

The Houston Aeros breezed to their second consecutive AVCO Cup with a four-game sweep of the Quebec Nordiques. Houston dominated in the playoffs, losing only once and winning their final 10 games. In the final round, Ron Grahame sported a sharp 1.75 average and a 94.3 save percentage, stopping 116 of 123 Quebec shots. Gordie Howe paced the Aero offense, with 5 goals and 3 assists in the four games. Gord Labossiere chipped in four goals, and the Aeros' dominance over Quebec was complete: the Nordiques never once held a lead in the four games.
