Excerpts from Zander Hollander's Guide to Pro Hockey, 1975-76 (by Reyn Davis)
Has cat-quick hands... But he's coming off a so-so season, riddled by injuries... "It was like going through four training camps," said Curran, lamenting how knee injuries interrupted his season... Was a 20-game winner for first two seasons, but dipped to 11 last year... Has a Bachelor of Science degree in social studies... Nickname is "Lefty"... Pushed a referee once and sat out a suspension... Key member of Silver medal-winning United States Winter Olympic team in 1972.
