Regular Season & Playoff Scoring Record (key)

No move is worth making. Andre Hinse thinks, unless it's a sure thing. When the Houston Aeros drafted Hinse, Larry Lund and Frank Hughes together as a forward line from the old Phoenix Roadrunners of the Western Hockey League, Hinse was the one of the three who decided not to move.
"They were together three years at Phoenix," says Aero manager Bill Dineen, "and, funny thing, Lund and Hughes didn't seem quite the same that first year with us. Then he decided to move, seeing that we were for real, and they clicked together right away. Andre seldom takes a chance in his play, but when he does, it pays off."
Hinse was the only WHA player to record a five-goal game in the past season. He also scored two goals in the WHA all-star game, earning him recognition as the most valuable player in the exhibition.

Andy will never forget the night of January 15, 1975, when he scored 5 goals in the Aeros 9-2 home victory over the Edmonton Oilers ... Six shots were all he needed to be Kenny Brown twice and Chris Worthy three times in the space of 34 minutes ... Finished third in the balloting for All-Star left winger and most sportsmanlike player ... Extremely handy using his stick to deflect shots directed at opposing goals ... Performs on the left side of the Go-Go Line beside center Larry Lund and right winger Frank Hughes ... The line has been together for five of the last six seasons.
