Regular Season & Playoff Scoring Record (key)

Solid, if unspectacular left wing play is the trademark of Bob Liddington. He obviously is appreciated, however, because Calgary Centennial fans applauded him in a Bob Liddington Night in 1969, before he turned professional.
Centennials retired his sweater number after he scored 58 goals in the 1968-69 campaign.
Three years later, Phoenix Roadrunner fans voted him the winner of their Hustle Award.
Spurs manager-coach Jean-Guy Talbot appreciates him already. "With guys like Liddington, Popiel and Francois Rochon, we're set at left wing," said Talbot. "They've all proven themselves as professionals."

Freewheeling skater who oozes excitement ... Seems to be 40 places at once ... A workhorse ... Won the hearts of hockey fans in Calgary as a junior ... Upon his graduation, the Centennials retired his sweater, remembering him as the team's first player to score 50 goals in one season ... Five of his 23 goals in 1974-75 were scored during power plays ... Nickname, not surprisingly, is "Liddy" ... Went on offseason fishing trip with the Bruins' Bobby Orr in summer of 1974.
