Excerpts from Zander Hollander Complete Hockey Handbook, 1975-76 (by Reyn Davis)

It's been said that this unheralded rookie is the young man who made the "Kid Line" click in 1974-75 ... Stationed on the right side, beside Gary MacGregor and Francois Rochon, he showed remarkable discipline ... Rookies right out of junior hockey are inclined to be less positional and more individual, but not this fellow ... Good in the corners, where coaches believe games are won and lost ... Usually the target of MacGregor's passes... Lomenda likes to hit Rochon with his feeds ... Fourth choice of Kansas City of the NHL ... Attended University of Wisconsin briefly on hockey scholarship.
