Excerpts from Pro Hockey, WHA 1976-77 (by Dan Proudfoot)
It took Peter Marrin a full three years longer to become a major leaguer than he expected, but he finally made it in 1975-76 when his 22 goals represented a highly respectable total.
Marrin was a fine junior hockey player in Toronto, and when he was signed by the Taros he fully believed he'd be a fine WHA player too. But it wasn't that easy. "When he came to us he had the wrong concept of how it was going to be," says Bulls manager-coach Gilles Leger. "He's improved every year, however, and now his hard work pleases hardened hockey fans."
