Regular Season & Playoff Scoring Record (key)

Excerpts from Pro Hockey, WHA 1975-76 (by Dan Proudfoot)
The understanding is clear enough. Jets want Perry Miller to take care of any opponents who decide to bruise the Winnipeg scorers into submission.
Miller's 1973-74 record reflects his role: only 28 points, but 133 penalty minutes. Because the Winnipeg-born 23-year-old relishes his work, team management is content to wait for him to develop all the finer skills. Meantime, his social manners are impeccably bad. "You make a stew," says hockey manager Rudy Pilous, "you need all kinds of ingredients, a little pepper to go with the salt. With guys like Miller and Lesuk our stew is going to taste fine."

Excerpts from Zander Hollander Complete Hockey Handbook, 1975-76 (by Reyn Davis)
Came to camp unsigned in the fall of 1974 as a defenseman, but made the team on left wing... Endeared himself to Winnipeg fans by dishing out bone-bruising checks, hustling all the time and liquidating a few goons who loved to terrorize the "skittish" Jets... Flamboyant individual... Offseason home is Charlotte, North Carolina, where he played for the Checkers in 1973-74... Romanced by Detroit Red Wings, but elected to stay with the Jets... Went almost half a season before his first goal came along... Victim of a robbery on a Houston street near the team's hotel in December 1974.
