Regular Season & Playoff Scoring Record (key)

While developing as a hockey professional since 1967, Proceviat somehow has found time to spend summers working underground as a miner, and earn a degree in history.
Now 29, he performs as though every play is being recorded in a permanent history, which he someday will be forced to review time and time again. In short, he fumes with every mistake. He sizzles when beaten in his defence chores. And he never gives up, providing the kind of effort Racers lacked from some of the players gained in the 1975 expansion draft.
Proceviat's style is conservative. He seldom rushes with the puck. But he does know how to pass and get results, as his 27 assists in 1974-75 demonstrate.

One time miner ... Nicknamed "Goodyear" because of his durability ... Like Bob Sicinski and Bob Whitlock, he came to Racers via the Chicago Cougars ... A willing mixer though considered only a brave fighter ... Plays with great zeal ... Gutsiest player on the team ... Led Racer defensemen with 28 assists ... A WHA original via the Central Hockey League, where he was a first-team all-star in 1971-72 ... Attended Laurentian University, where he received a degree in history
