Excerpts from Pro Hockey, WHA 1976-77 (by Dan Proudfoot) The Toronto Toros employed a crowd of rookie defensemen in their final year at Maple Leaf Gardens, but one who stood out for more than his lack of experience was Jerry Rollins. "Jerry has the type of aggressiveness you don't always find," says Gilles Leger. "We hope he'll be with us for a long time." Which means he showed considerable promise, and accumulated 185 minutes in penalties.
