Peak 2794 appears in the distance as I start the hike

As seen from a low pass in the hills, sun was low and offering good light

Now seen from the south, in more cool morning light

Aiming for the pass up ahead

At the pass below the peak, looking up. It doesn't look so easy from here

I walked down the north side of the pass, then angled back and went up the slope to the right of the big rock

Approaching the summit

Summit views, plus the last slope to the top. A cloud had moved in and muted the lighting

The peak as I exit, with the Moon up high

Peak 2220

A closer view

The slope up looked like this

Summit rocks

View north, with Baldy Peak (Francis Rogers Peak) in the mid-distance

View west, I think that is Syenite Peak to the distant right
